The story so far is a debauched chaotic blur of false memory, speculation and over-stretches of the physical self, we’ll let you know when we agree on a telling of this story.

Sticking to the few scant facts available at present, antares are a progressive / technical / forward-thinking hardcore band – we are 2 guitarists, a bassist, drummer and vocalist.
We formed in the Winter of 2007 and practiced for a year before playing our first gig on 29th November 2008 with an American band called Racebannon.  Since then we’ve played across the country for whoever will have us and have released an ep called “l’esprit de l’escalier” and a split 7″ with our friends Rolo Tomassi (both on the label Holy Roar Records).

Critiques have included statements such as “..I have seen in years!”, “..along with their label affiliation.” and “..throws you around..”.
